Phentermine for weight loss

There are many diet pills promising to help you lose weight. Many don’t work at all while others can help you lose some weight if you use them along with a proper diet and exercise program. Phentermine is one of those substances that can help you control your weight. It is not an amphetamine although it falls under the same umbrella.
One of the main similarities with amphetamines is the side-effects. Phentermine can cause increased heart rate and higher blood pressure. It should also be avoided by pregnant women (why would a pregnant woman be trying to lose weight in the first place, anyways?) or those who take certain other medications. This drug can also cause constipation, diarrhea, restlessness, and insomnia among many other things.
Personally, I don’t endorse the use of any substances for weight loss since one can easily control his/her weight with exercise and proper diet. If you desperately want to make use of Phentermine then you should at least consult with a doctor before getting started on it. It is the wise thing to do considering the serious health issues that may arise from its use.
