We almost always associate las vegas nevada with a destination for the rich. In fairness, this is not a complete misconception considering that Las Vegas is mostly known for its casinos. The truth is that there is more to do in Las Vegas than spend all your money at one of the many casinos. Sure, you want to have some fun at the casino but you don’t have to be there 24/7 just because this is what you have been conditioned to believe.

The city offers a number of attractions for the whole family including GameWorks and Adventuredome. Your kids will get a kick out of the Shark Reef at Mandalay Bay, the Secret Garden and Dolphin Habitat at the Mirage and, of course, the MGM Lion Habitat.

Needless to say, there are also a large number of affordable hotels; if you take the time to properly plan your Vegas vacation then you can get some great deals for the whole family. Some great deals for well known destinations such as the Riviera hotel and casino and also the Sahara hotel and casino are almost always available if you do your homework.

So, affordable vacations in Las Vegas are possible for a single person looking for a good time or for an entire family looking for a great time.
