Crappy mobile phone receptions piss me off

We live in the age of mobility. Our mobile electronic devices are becoming smaller with more computational power that was used to fly and land the American astronauts on the Moon. We now have nice looking devices like the iPhone and we can, in theory, stay connected 24/7. And yet, I still can’t believe how poor cell phone coverage still is today even in major cities.
I don’t get annoyed by many things but technology is seriously starting to piss me off. First, we had to put up with the Microsoft Window Operating System which thought it fine to crash and burn every so often. Then, we had to put up with business software that could not represent dates past the year 1999 resulting in millions of dollars spent trying to correct it. Now, we have really bad cell phone coverage which we have to put up with for the privilege of staying connected with our loved ones and friends. I really wish the company I work for would install a cell signal booster in our coorporate building to provide better signal for us. The company can afford it and we can definitely increase our work efficiency if we had it.
In general, I get the impression that the faster technology advances, the less usable it becomes. It is about time that consumers voted with their wallets and started demanding better products and service from the tech industry.
Just my 2c.
