Disposable diapers make life easy for parents

I spent a few hours last weekend with friends who recently had their first baby. Of course, I had a great time. At some point, however, the baby needed a change of diaper. My friend promptly replaced the dirty diaper with a new disposable diaper . The process was fast and pain free so to speak. These days, disposable diapers make the life of parents so much easier.

I recall my mother telling me when I was a baby disposable diapers were to expensive and so she used homemade diapers. These were essentially pieces of cloth that had to be washed daily (washing machines not being readily available at the time these diapers had to be washed by hand.) Somehow, I can’t imagine my friends doing this. Disposable diapers today are cheap and not only make the lives of parents easy but I bet they are more comfortable for the baby than a piece of cloth.
