Taking a business online

I am thinking of taking a small software business of mine online. I know I am a little late entering the game but since I have an established clientèle in the brick and mortar world, I figured there was no real need to sell my software online. Creating a website and placing my software catalog on the World Wide Web took some time but it was not that difficult. One thing that I had to make use off was to find a company that could provide me with the proper service for taking orders online. The best deal I could find was that offered by Merchant Focus who are partners with authorize.net a leader in online payment processing for more than a decade. Setting up an account and adding it to my website was relatively easy.

My online software shop is now live and waiting for its first customer. Let’s hope that it will be as successful as its brick and mortar counterpart.
