Archimedes Bath LiftThe Archimedes bath lift is probably the first (and very likely only) thing that makes me wish that I age quickly. This ingenious device is designed to help older people take a bath by making it easy and safe for them to enter a bath tab without the danger of slipping and falling down.

For less than $1000, you can purchase the Bath Lift shown in the image to the left. This safe and comfortable lift operates using batteries but there is no danger of electrocution for the person using it. The lift is smart enough not to lower a person in the bathtub unless it has enough energy left in the batteries to lift them back up. The image below shows how the Archimedes Bath Lift operates.
