Who are the neoconservatives?

There are many neoconservatives in the United States. Although you may not agree with their way of political thinking, it is important to know who these people are. After all, the more that you know about the neoconservatives, the easier it will become for you to identify with what they stand for.
Early in his presidency George W. Bush was not seen as having a neoconservative was of thinking. But as time went on, especially after September 11, 2001, this changed quite a bit.
In addition to Bush, some of the most well known neoconservatives in the United States include: Elliott Abrams, Richard Armitage, William Bennett, Jeffrey Bergner, John Bolton, Paula Dobriansky, Frank Gaffney, Jr., Newt Gingrich, Richard Perle, Vin Weber, and Karl Rove among many others.
As you can see, there are quite a few well known neoconservatives in the United States. And if you look back in history, you will see that there are many others who were well known while they were living.
All in all, there are always going to be neoconservatives in the United States. But for many, it is a matter of whether or not these people have the power to change the country. Are you for or against neo-conservatism?
