Slow motion karate chop

High speed cameras make it possible for us to watch events in slow motion that was never possible before. One amazing example of taking full advantage of a high speed camera is the video below showing a karate master breaking a brick with his hand. In slow motion, you can see how his hand and wrist deform as both come to contact with the brick. I used to think that being able to break bricks with my hand in a similar way to karate black belts is cool but after watching this video, I very much doubt I will bother with it any more. I just don’t think that I want to knowingly abuse my body like this. The video is pretty amazing though!
