Buying furniture after moving

I have said before that I am in the process of moving to a new city (actually, it is a whole new country I am moving to.) At any rate, this will be the second time in 7 years (and the third in 12 years) that I am relocating. It is always a huge hassle to keep moving around all my possessions and especially large household items such as furniture.

This is why I have always recycled my old furniture and always replaced them with new ones. For some reason, no matter what the season there is always a store selling discount furniture making this the most affordable part of a relocation. I am not very demanding of the furniture I use and in fact I can get a lot of mileage from IKEA-level furniture. I really believe that for those of us always on the move, this is the best way to handle the issue of moving a household. Recycle the old furniture and buy new discount furniture to replace them.
