Support your local….uh Team

What is about people and there sports teams, hey I like sports as much as the next guy, at least I thought I did. Then I hear stories like this and I wonder not about my love of sports but when does that become an infatuation. Sure the soccer hoodlums of England fit into the category of ” a little more than excited” about there team-(too bad no World Cup for them) but generally most people can comport themselves with a little dignity right? Uh wrong. Case in point.

A Green Bay packers fan 36 year old Mathew Kowald was trying to get his 7 year old son to wear a Green Bay Packers jersey during Saturdays football playoff showdown between Green Bay and Seattle. When the child refused to wear the Green Bay jersey (the kid must have been a Seattle fan) the man taped the jersey on him. He was later cited by police for disorderly conduct. So you say how did he get caught? Unfortunately or maybe fortunately his wife turned states, officer Wayne Smith at first did not believe the incident but when Kowald’s wife had taken pictures of the son wrapped in the jersey Kowald was arrested. Not a total loss as Green Bay beat Seattle. Go Packers!
