Remove a tree, replace a tree
By Beowulf • Jan 14th, 2008 • Category: EnvironmentOwning a home can be a huge responsibility. This holds especially true when it comes to outdoor maintenance. For many people, landscaping is something that they enjoy. If this sounds like you, there is a chance that you will consider removing a tree from your yard sooner rather than later. Hopefully if you do this, you will keep one very important rule of thumb in mind: anytime you remove a tree you should replace it with another. This is a great way to ensure that you never do anything that will harm the environment.
Does this mean that I should plant a tree in my yard? Obviously, if you take a tree out of your yard there is a good chance that you did so for a reason. Of course, this means that you may not want to plant a new one. Even if this is the case, you can find a way to replace the tree in some fashion. You may want to do so at a local park, or maybe ask a friend or family member if they have a need for a tree in their yard.
Why is it so important to plant trees? Generally speaking, trees offer many benefits to the environment. Not only do the produce the oxygen that we breathe, but they also help to trap airborne toxins.
Remember, anytime you remove a tree you should replace it as soon as possible. This will help to ensure that you never personally do anything to harm the environment.
