Companion robot iRobi

Check out this cute Korean robot from Yujin Robotics called iRobi. The robot is designed to function as an entertainment center on wheels including remote control, dancing, recipe database, news station, alarm clock and guard functionality; it can also work as a remote health monitoring station for elderly or any sick person. And it can recharge itself when necessary. The robot is already available in Korea and Yujin is looking for a North American distributor. It won’t be long before we can purchase one but as you can hear at the end of the video there is a steep price associated with iRobi in the order of $5000-6000. Still a very cool robot, though!
