Knowledge is power

Microsoft practically ruined the holidays for many gamers. During the past week, there were some major problems at Xbox Live and many gamers were often faced with the error, “information could not be retrieved from xbox live.“ The problem often appeared when trying to access the online marketplace which prohibited users from buying games so hurting Microsoft itself. And the servers’ ability for proper matchmaking and messaging was also rather horrid. Good thing that they fixed most of the problems yesterday because I was really looking forward to maximizing quality time spend with my new Xbox this weekend.

Damn you Microsoft. Can’t you do anything right? Hire some smart people to keep your servers working and let us hard core gamers have our fun. How can it be that a huge company with an enormous amount of money to spend can’t setup a system that can handle the (very much expected) increase in holiday traffic?
