Marion Jones admits steroid use

The New York Times report that after years of denying using steroids, celebrated athlete Marion Jones is expected to admit the use of steroid in the Balco case. According to the article,

Ms. Jones is expected to plead guilty to one count of making false statements to federal agents about her use of performance-enhancing drugs and one count of making false statements to federal agents in connection with a separate check fraud case, the lawyers said.

Of course, when this happen, Marion Jones will only become another athlete who has achieved greatness via the use of designer steroids. Then again, most reasonable people already knew that this was the case even if she (and the other athletes) kept denying it. And just to throw a bit of sarcasm in this post, let me end it with a picture since one is worth a thousand words.
