Who Says you are old for video Games?

Now, a trend that I am sure other retirement homes hope catch on, show that some retirement homes such as that of the retirement community in Birmingham, England have introduced gaming, and the results have been exceptional or more to the point addictive. The addiction, Nintendo Wii, a move introduced by the director of the Birmingham retirement home Jayne Naylor. “It’s a very pleasant distraction…” says resident Barrie Edgar. Ages ranging from 88 to 103 are apparently hooked on the Nintendo Wii, so much so, that the retirement community has started to organize gaming leagues.
“It’s great fun to have electronic gadgets in the home.” Says Edgar. So much for bowling.
