Coleman Optimaxx marine coolerWhen it comes to keeping your beer cold, Coleman has designed a product that tramps the competition. The company recently introduced the new Optimaxx series of state-of-the-art marine coolers for the brave and often thirsty sailor. When I say that these coolers are top-of-the-line and so technologically advanced that would make one think they were designed by NASA engineers, I really mean it. The Optimaxx XP H20 cooler uses an antimicrobial liner, foil sheets and two types of insulation along with a polyethylene exterior to keep your thirst quenchers cold for up to 1 week. The coating is designed such that it reflects ultraviolet and infrared rays or, in other words, it keeps out those nasty energy rays from the Sun that want to ruin your day away from home and your slave job.

The Optimaxx series are also high capacity. What’s the point of keeping your beer refreshingly cold for 1 week if you run out after a couple of days. The 200-Quart Coleman cooler holds as many as 327 cans. That’s 47 cans a day if you go fishing alone or about 23 a day if you go with a body of yours; but then again, I am sure he will bring his own booze and if he is smart enough, he will have it stored in his very own Coleman Otimaxx marine cooler.

The cooler is rather expensive at more than $450 but the quality of cooling and the extreme capacity makes the price well worth it.
